MARK VETO plays distorted electric guitar and sings over pounding backing track beats. Sometimes dark, bluesy and grinding, often rhythmic and driving. Stripped-down post-punk/ garage rock tunes about Einstein’s fridge, ripping the sky, and the frustrating interactions of daily life.
Now a solo performer, MARK VETO started his musical journey in ramshackle punk outfit ASTROTRUSS. Went on to play guitar with STRUMPET CITY. Was press-ganged into shop work and digging holes in the ground, then a truck driver, NHS physio, barman, and martial arts instructor. Appeared on stage naked (once was enough). Ex-squatter and direct actioneer. Trans ally. Home brewer. Cat servant.
