Eccentric small town independent songwriter and producer combining all the disparate interests he likes into one unique and eclectic sound. H00D3D F!GUR3 does not claim to be any of the vocalists in any of the productions released under this name. Many thanks are given to all the nameless other songwriters and vocalists who freely provided their talents in order to make this project a reality. Excursion
Hey Everyone! I'm happy to announce "Exultant!" and it will be available in streaming services in just a few days. It combines many wildly different influences from the Tarja Turunen era of the early career of the symphonic metal band Nightwish, Bryan Adams, Five For Fighting, and the more introspective solo career material of the late Left Eye from TLC. Full disclosure, this is another release that also uses "generated" assets but great care was taken to ensure they are of decent quality and stylistically fit with the rest of the album. This is another release that rejects the notion that all metal intrinsically needs to be nihilistic and morbid with a defeatist attitude towards wellbeing, and also rejects a similar notion that all Hip Hop needs to be narcissistic and self-destructive to be respectable. This is a release that attempts to be uplifting and hopeful, inspirational and pushes for mental and spiritual health and celebrates it when it's achieved. As for the song itself, Excursion is simply about young souls running away and going on an adventure with a lover, heading for higher ground and a better life and having the courage to elevate themselves above their initial state. I know it is a well done trope and maybe is a little cliche to some, but this is a genuine hope that a lot of people have. more

This is a release that attempts to be uplifting and hopeful, inspirational and pushes for mental and spiritual health and celebrates it when it's achieved. Arcturus is simply about looking up at the stars and being reminded of a certain someone special, whoever they may be to you. And then strangely, the world doesn't seem like such a vast and scary place knowing all are under the same sky and through pure energy from the stars we are one. more

Asphodel
Hey everyone, I'm happy to announce "Saturnine!" This album continues a trend from a previous release, "Soporium," but in a refined and a more distinct direction. This music is very heavily influenced by European gothic metal from the 90s and the 00s but with a uniquely Americanized reimagining with elements of New Age, Hip Hop, Alternative rock and digitized Amerindian folk music. This is also the first release I've done with "generated" assets in the audio with what I would personally assess as decent results. "Asphodel" is a dramatic cinematic song that draws on the "Trouble in Paradise," trope. It portrays the haunting realization that something utopian that was so hard earned through struggle that once was thought to be a perfect solution to solve all problems and worries, in the end, it's not really bringing you happiness or bliss as you thought it would've, and its not known what is to be done since life feels so empty after the pursuit of something that turned out to be unsatisfactory.more
