"Had Nothin" is one of the most powerful songs that I have produced to date. I still get emotional and teary eyed when I listen to it sometimes. This song was made soon after unfairly losing custody of my firstborn son and a judge granting that the geographic restriction on his child support be lifted. That way his mom could moved him from Texas to New Mexico to live with her and her new husband. I'm still struggling to come to terms with this even as I type this song description.
