This soul music was written on the hard-knock streets of Big Island, and I feel so blessed to be able to share it with all of you. This never would have been possible without a little help from my friends and community. After being jump-kick false-cracked in the back of my head, neck and top of my spine while waiting to play open-mic at the La Hiki Ola Kava Bar in early 2018, I suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) which took over 2 years to recover from. I had been living in my car for a few years after having the home I personally built in Black Sands stolen piece by piece when I took a respite from Puna in 2016, severing some major ties and suffering major memory loss...... this track was born of this time period.... in order to transmute & mitigate severe pain and damage from being attacked, without much of a long-term memory all I could do was live in the moment and play, and play and play... the more i played & the more I tried to sing, the less I stuttered and the less I noticed my brain misfiring.... music is love, music is healing and music is the ANSWER. These are hard times we find ourselves in now, and I hope everyone who hears this track can take away and impart some meaning in their lives today. All is not hopeless, we are the creators of our universe and we are love, and love is the greatest force in our universe. This track was written in 2018, performed relentlessly and has penetrated deeply into the fabric of the Punaverse.more

Taking you guys back to the beach - Captured the 1st time this original was born on Kehena Beach in 2019... Steve-O mentions a story about a woman with a Walker and a Dog who stole something from him, and I asked why he didn't chase her. He pointed and she was halfway up the cliff. This song just poured out moments later.
