Earth is You, Earth is Me
The song Earth Is You, Earth Is Me is an Everyday Earth Day song and was intended to be enjoyed year round. It is an original Environment and Earth Song for Kids, released under the Sue McBride For Kids brand, in April 2021, on Earth Day. Sue wrote the song for children to respect and appreciate Mother Earth, to be grateful and care for the environment and creatures of the planet, while developing their vocal skills to sing in a 2-part round with ostinati. The songs engaging beats and rhythms can easily be adapted to the basic rhythm instruments in any home or classroom. Although the song was written specifically for children, Earth is You, Earth is a song suitable for all ages, and is certainly a song parents won't mind listening to over and over. The vocals of Sue McBride and sound engineer/graphic artist Spacefood, combined with the many world instruments on the instrumental track are sure to please the ears of all ages worldwide. Kids can grab a DIY instrument, classroom instrument and follow along to any of the beats and rhythms in the video. They can dance along, make their own body percussion or follow the suggested body percussion Sue McBride demonstrates in the You Tube video. Children can sing in 4-part harmony with friends or classmates. A choir arrangement or performance could be made out of it - the possibilities with this video and song are endless!more
