Average White Band
Average White Band (or AWB) is a Scottish funk and R&B band formed in London in early 1972 that had a series of soul and disco hits between 1974 and 1980. They are best known for their million-selling instrumental track "Pick Up the Pieces", and their albums AWB and Cut the Cake. The band name was initially proposed by Bonnie Bramlett; the band backed Bramlett on her first solo outing, 1973's Sweet Bonnie Bramlett, an album that presaged the Disco movement, particularly with the track Crazy 'Bout My Baby played heavily in dance clubs.

Steam (in my coffee)
Inspired from an observation while living in Toronto, Cn; Mental illness is overwhelming at times for sufferers. Most folk just need to know they are heard and recognized. Self healing just caslls for letting go. Like 'steam in your coffee' gotta let it go. A poetic piece attempting to meet in a listener's theater of the mind and illustrate the scenes and experiences of many and offer a simple remedy. To let go of a little 'steam' is a natural remedy. more
