Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota, United States) is an American musician, poet and artist whose position in popular culture is unique.
Dylan started his musical odyssey in 1959 when he began playing in Dinkytown, Minneapolis while attending the University of Minnesota. Shortly after starting to play he changed his stage name to Bob Dylan, after being influenced by the poetry of Dylan Thomas before legally changing his name in 1962.

Chasing The Line
Today (7 October 2024) would be my brother's 67th birthday but he lost his life in a motorbike accident in 2006 when he was 49 years old. This is my song for him.
It's a two chord, straight ahead rock song but I don't think he would have minded. That's the sort of guy he was.
I added the percussion intro to provide a bit of light and shade. You might notice I recycled one of the guitar solos from this song into my song Melrose Park. I don't know where I like it best.
