Charlotte Day Wilson
Charlotte Day Wilson is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Toronto. Wilson has the type of slow-burning, smoldering jazz and R&B-influenced sound that already feels classic. She has been quietly churning out songs, from the gospel-washed “Work” back in April to a guest spot in BADBADNOTGOOD’s “In Your Eyes". Her debut EP, CDW, Wilson solidifyies her timeless sound. Getting here hasn’t been easy—the artist has been, as she says, “working [her] ass off.

Crying Wolf
Heeey slaps peeps!! I'm an indie soul artist from NYC. This song has a crazy payoff at the end..... listen through if you can! Wrote this song about trying to contain big feelings in one body. Holding them tight until they burst. It’s about getting hurt but not wanting to be dramatic about how deeply the feelings are affecting you because nobody else seems to be reacting this way. The song mimics this journey of taking control of your own emotions, starting in a dreamy soundscape of layered vocal harmony which provides the backbone for the lead melody to introduce the pain and heartache. As the song grows into a full band arrangement, the narrative starts to question victimhood. Then the song bursts into empowerment: rage, confidence, feeling fed up. I decide I will not be the one left crying from this heartbreak. All production done in NYC.more
