This is my first release as Monk & the 66. I wrote a lot of songs in 2020 and they came out sounding really different than anything that I did before. Well, 2020 changed everything including our music, didn’t it? I had the title Isolation Station before the song. Then then one night, I was thinking about how life was really different when I was young. As hyper connected as we now are, we remain disconnected in so many ways, each of us living on our own isolation station.
