don’t talk me down.
Don’t talk me down is about surviving emotional abuse from someone close to me. I practically deal with it every day and every ride is not easy. I constantly remind myself that I am stronger than any abuse or anything that comes my way that’s negative. That I am filled with positive emotions that will take me a long way. I was scared to release the song because I felt like in the future, that that person would hear this song and question whether or not it’s about them. I have to realize that in order to get my truth out, that is doing it the way that makes me feel good and putting music out makes me feel very relieved, strong and very confident that I can get through this. After years and years of this abuse, I fully realize that I am a human being. I have feelings. I shouldn’t feel guilty for what they have done to me. It’s not my fault. I will get through this. No matter what anybody says I know that with my intuition and a positive mind also with a positive heart, that I can accomplish and encourage those who doesn’t have a voice or who can’t speak their voice to stand up for themselves. So for those who are dealing with emotional abuse or anything in particular that is putting them in some sort of emotional distress, I encourage you to tell them don’t you dare talk me down. more

summer-like breeze
Enjoy my first officially released lofi track: The song is meant to convey the sweet idea of summer you have at a time when it’s still to early (and too rainy) to call it summer already. more
