“The Butterfly” is the title track of my debut album, The Butterfly. This song is inspired by watching my daughter grow up and the profound emotions that come with it. It reflects on the moments of joy, laughter, and wonder as I watch her spread her wings, becoming her own person while still holding on to the bond we share. The butterfly represents her transformation—delicate, beautiful, and full of potential. The lyrics draw from real-life memories, like piling leaves for her to jump into or marveling at her laughter. Writing this song was my way of capturing the bittersweet reality of seeing her grow: the pride in her independence and the ache of letting go. The arrangement is warm and intimate, blending acoustic guitar and heartfelt vocals to evoke a sense of love, nostalgia, and hope for her future.more

I'd have to say that Summertime Sunshine" is a fusion of classic rock 'n' roll, and alternative rock. The song's upbeat and catchy melody, combined with its energetic and driving rhythms,  I think make it a true rock 'n' roll anthem. I wanted to create a song that captured the carefree spirit of summer, while also drawing from my own musical influences and tastes.
