Brooklyn Bossa (feat. Ricardo Barros)
Get a direct copy from my website: https://ahmedsirour.com/track/3346526/brooklyn-bossa-feat-ricardo-barros . This is an idea I was working on, off & on, over a few months that I composed & recorded, starting with a layered Bossa Nova beat, an upright bass part, a unison then harmonic background vocalese pad arrangement, grand piano, percussion, and a rhythm guitar part (all played on keys), but what I really needed was a REAL Brasilian guitarist! When I met the amazing Ricardo Barros in SaoPaulo, Brazil at a private jam session, I knew we had to connect and there was definitely musical magic! He recorded some takes for my track and voila! An instant classic–at least for my repertoire! 😉 . Released February 23, 2023 on ahmedsirour.com and March 1, 2023 on major streaming sites. . CREDITS Ahmed Sirour - original composition & arrangement, drum/percussion editing, upright bass, vocal pads, grand piano , acoustic rhythm guitar, mixing and mastering (all played on keyboard via Logic Pro). . Ricardo Barros - acoustic guitar solo (and that's all he needed cuz he DID that!)more
