The Flame
"Life goes on, at an ever-faster pace. Days pass quicker and quicker, years flow by like a raging river, barely letting us stop, not letting us go back. Our time’s almost up, the fire is nearly gone. We burn what we have left, we burn our innocence, we try to keep the flame alight just a little bit longer… But The Beacon gets dimmer, despite our efforts. The glimmer of it barely shines enough to brighten the days. Days we don’t have much left. The flame flickers. People fall, like grains of sand. Every morning we see less and less of us. Tomorrow is a hope, never a promise. The flame flickers. Many desperately try to go back, clutching onto the past, chasing a dream long gone. Blanketing themselves in the comfort of the past… never to realise, they can’t go back. The hourglass won’t turn, the grains of sand won’t stop falling. The flame flickers. Others set themselves aflame, whether to see the future for themselves or to make our present last a little bit longer. Fanatically chanting for the end of times, eager to see what’s ahead, leaving behind everything they had. “We won’t need those anymore” they said. Whether they were reassuring themselves that it’ll be over soon or hoping to leave those for us, I could not tell the difference. The flame flickers. I take a look at The Beacon, burning in the distance. Once used to be our shining obelisk of hope, now an omen of ruin. The flame flickers. So many of us have given up trying, some still burn whatever’s left to gain just a bit more time, both live in fear that tomorrow will never come. The flame flickers. And yet… I feel strangely at peace. I have dreams I haven’t fulfilled, and probably never will. I have regrets and mistakes that I’ll never be able to fix. However… I have something for certain. Here, and now. The present. Even if the past is gone, and the future is uncertain… Whatever is up next, I don’t think we should fear it, nor rush towards it. Sometimes you just want to sit among the sand dunes, staring at the sky with a flickering flame in the distance and think- The flame is gone." Written by my friend - "True Plantixx" ============== This track was created for the 3W3P1S Challenge on the :OSSEMBLI server. Our team was called: Morelki We took 2nd place! I composed the music, while my friend, TruePlantixx wrote this beautiful short story and created the official artwork, which will be visible on the full album release alongside the other winners' tracks! (somewhere in April) This one was pretty tough to make. I incorporated some personal recordings from my life and holidays. The high-pitched instruments were recorded at a playground in Toruń, where we found some "kids' instruments" that sounded surprisingly nice and interesting—so we spent quite some time recording all of them. The voices right before the drop were me and an Italian conductor, conversation took place on 2021 Orchestra Workshop. I hope you like it!more

A Promise ( Darnia's Letters | 7 letters of Seas - Season 4 - Track 7
The Seven Letters to the Sea: Darnia’s Wartime Reflections on Ukraine’s Black Sea Coast In the shadow of war, the human spirit often finds solace in the most unexpected places. For Darnia, a Ukrainian soldier stationed along the Black Sea coast, the sea becomes her confidant, a silent witness to her fears, hopes, and unspoken sorrows. Through seven poignant letters written to the sea, Darnia’s story unfolds,a narrative of resilience, longing, and the unbreakable bond between sisters amidst the chaos of conflict. The Setting: A Soldier’s Life by the Black Sea Darnia’s world is one of contrasts. The serene beauty of the Black Sea, with its endless horizon and rhythmic waves, stands in stark contrast to the turmoil of war that surrounds her. As a soldier, her days are marked by vigilance and duty, but her nights belong to the sea. It is here, on the shores of her homeland, that she pens her letters, each a testament to the emotional toll of war and the enduring strength of the human spirit. --- Vocals: Azra Azizov & Büşra Azizov & KTGTIM & Ufuk Çelik Keys: Busra Azizov & The Sugar Diggy DunX & Ufuk Çelik Guitars: Ufuk Çelik Drums and Kits and Percussions: KTGTIM Production: UFCEBABA --- LYRICS: - Dear Sea, I will come back to you. Not with a rifle, but with my sister’s hands. We will sit on the shore, and you will tell her all the things I could not say in these letters. Please oh my blacksea Please Please keep my words safe in your depths... Please keep my dusty body safe in your depths with your other daughters Please...more

Çakma Simurg'un Günlüğü (The Diary of the Fake Simurgh)
This song is the root chapter of the "The Moth (The Diary of the Fake Simurgh) series I wrote a long time ago. It consists of eight main sections and is a promotional song for a new YouTube series. I think I will start live broadcasts in August, at least with my dear friend Harun Barış Tahtacı, if not as a group. We played this for his promotion; I hope you enjoy our song. --- LYRICS in Turkish (original language of the song if you want to know more follow us ... :D :D :D) --- "Aslım pervane ama Simurg'um ben Üç kere şahit oldum dünyanın yıkılışına Kıyametlere, zamanların yok oluşuna Hakimleri olmayan mahkemelerde tanık oldum Yaşım yok..." --- "Dayanabilecek misin? Canlanabilecek misin? Zorlukların aşman gereken Vadesi belli vadilerimin..." --- "Aşk! Yeterince istiyor musun? Emek verebilecek misin yorulmadan Sıkılmadan dayanabilecek misin İnsanlara... ve insanları... Anlayabilecek misin?" --- "Geçmişte mi yaşıyorsun hala Yakılan ruhun ve kalbin canlanınca İçindeki alevi unutabilecek misin Evvelden gelen bülbül gibi Sıradan bir dikenli güle mi kanacaksın?" --- "Mazeretlerini neden küçük bakışlarla sunuyorsun? Unutuyorsun gözlerini Kendini reddediyorsun Olmayacak hayaller kuruyorsun Kabullenmiyorsun..." --- "Yedi vadinin sonu bu mu? Sevgili baş melek Yoksa sonsuzluk mu ateş? Azra el bebek..." --- "Aslım pervane ama Simurg'um ben... Yaşım yok..." --- by UFUK ÇELİK as always!more
