Laura Phillips Anderson was born June 5, 1947, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, United States. She attended Mills College in California, and eventually graduated from Barnard College magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, studying art history. In 1972, she obtained an MFA in sculpture from Columbia University.

The Tide
Ambient track, recorded in Iceland by Kurt Uenala, also by David Wilcox in his home studio. Dave is on the guitar, Kurt played synth bass. I triggered samples from North Carolina to Kurt's studio in Hafnarfjörður and this is what happened. Vocals are mine, some samples include the voice of Sigurlaug Gísladóttir from Hùm, recorded on one km high from the same album.more
