Verse 1:
Sometimes I feel like my world is too far away,
I hear echoes of laughter drift like falling stars away from the galaxy.
I see faces smiling on the silver screen,
Yet I’m stuck in a space in between.
Chorus:
I will paint my skies with bright colors anew,
Find my rhythm and my truth.
Though shadows linger, I’ll hold on tight,
And create my way back to the light.
Verse 2:
The road is lonely, but I will find my tune,
I will dance in the rain, under a full moon.
Though they seem miles away, their voices fade,
I will build a bridge from the tears I’ve made in the shade.
Chorus:
I will paint my skies with bright colors anew,
I will find my rhythm and my truth.
Though shadows linger, I’ll hold on tight,
And create my way back to the light.
Bridge:
Every tear will be like a note & every heartache feels an old broken phone line,
I’ll weave the web into all my creations so divine.
The heartache will fade, my creation will stay,
Like a compass guiding me through each day.
Final Chorus:
So I’ll paint my skies with bright colors anew,
I will find my rhythm and my truth.
Though shadows still linger, I will hold on tight to what feels right,
And create my way back to the light.

I feel depressed today
Sitting in my room as I do everyday
I used to laugh
I used to create humor everyday
Somehow the humor was cast
Away in a faraway galaxy of light.
I will create art as it feels right.
Today I saw smiling faces
In photos with people going places
I feel secluded, as I am an introvert of sorts
I hear the multitude of gossip and as my heart fell apart.
I want to laugh after a good cry
And then I shall sigh, asking why,
I must get old and have pain.
My back and other joints have changed.
I sing a song of blues
To the tunes of yesterday, today, and future blues,
Of time and space.
Mother Mary is full of grace.
