When the Past Comes Knocking
When the Past Comes Knocking" is a raw, soul-punching anthem about the daily fight for sobriety. Written by Britney Flannagan, this song doesn’t sugarcoat recovery—it honors the quiet battles, the haunting memories, and the strength it takes to show up every day and not go back. It’s not about one dramatic rock bottom—it’s about the thousand moments afterward, when the past creeps in like a ghost, banging at the walls you've worked so hard to rebuild. With lyrics that lay bare the emotional toll of healing, and a final chorus that slams the door shut on the old version of yourself, this is more than a song—it’s survival set to music. If you’ve ever rebuilt yourself piece by piece, this one’s for you. She’s not coming back—and neither are you.more
