Although Everything Is Borrowed (Remake)
T.I.E. (Take It Easy) is the original music project of singer-songwriter Katarina Vukadin, launched in 2020 in collaboration with long-time friend and arranger Teo Aničić. The project was conceived as a personal artistic outlet that blends genres such as pop, rock, funk, and punk, resulting in a distinctive and authentic sound.
T.I.E. began its journey with the release of the debut EP "Take It Easy", featuring four songs in English. One of the tracks, “Even If”, was included on the XX 2020 XX compilation of emerging rock bands, helping T.I.E. gain visibility on the local scene.
In July 2021, T.I.E. released their first full-length studio album, "Borrowed Guts", marked by bold lyrics and an expressive sonic approach. The single “Yes You Can Play with Madness” served as a homage and response to Iron Maiden’s cult classic “Can I Play with Madness,” highlighting T.I.E.’s fearless and witty creative vision.
The project continued to evolve, culminating in the release of the second studio album, "Still Standing Still", in October 2024, premiered with a live concert at the Komedija Theatre Club in Zagreb. This album explores deeper introspective themes and further establishes T.I.E. as a bold and sincere voice within the regional alternative scene.
Katarina writes both the music and lyrics for T.I.E., while arrangements and production are shaped in collaboration with Aničić. The project is defined by artistic freedom, genre experimentation, and emotional honesty — making T.I.E. a unique creative force in the independent music landscape.
Outside of her solo project, Katarina Vukadin is active in a variety of artistic and musical fields. She performs in the musical-theatrical production “Cabaret by Miro Ungar”, where she portrays Edith Piaf, and is a member of the gypsy/swing band Orient Express. Across all her endeavors, she channels her passion for performance, storytelling, and artistic authenticity.more
