(Please read until the end for my story on this record...) Thank you so much for the love and support I've been getting on all my social media and streaming platforms! This is another song off of my recent EP "Tales From Hali", (CHECK OUT MY YOUTUBE TO WATCH THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE FIRST SINGLE IN 4K!) This was the first track I recorded for this project, finally coming back to music after making it out of rock bottom/hell.. but the thing with this record is I was still in it slightly, or just on my way out. I recorded this in my drug and crime infested neighborhood and ill never forget how much this song matched the vibes of all the crazy stuff going on in my neighborhood at the time. And I touch on losing my woman to suicide, my time selling and then using drugs myself, and my battle with the devil, but how I had God with me the whole time to save me. Its definitely a deeper track and I am vulnerable in it, but maybe someone can relate and it will help them....while I still show my skills as a lyricist at the same time as telling my story.
