The Human League
The Human League are an English synthpop band formed in 1977. Originally a minimal Post-Punk synthesiser-based group from Sheffield, UK, they became one of the most successful New Wave acts of the 80s. The only consistent band member is vocalist and songwriter Phil Oakey. The band's best known configuration was their 1980-1985 lineup of Phillip Oakey (vocals), Joanne Catherall (vocals), Susanne Sulley (vocals), Phillip Adrian Wright (keyboards), Jo Callis (guitar, keyboards) and Ian Burden (bass).

Do Not Ask Me To Remember (The Alzheimer's Song)
This song came about after my dad had to go into care as his Alzheimer's had become too severe for mum to care for him safely any more. At his care home there was a poem written by Owen Darnell that my mum loved and asked me to print out. Whilst doing this I was moved by the words and thought it might be a nice present to my mum if I were to put the poem to music and present it to her along with the framed poem. So this was a very personal song - specifically aimed at an audience of one but is the most viewed video on my YouTube channel so others are finding solace in it. This is available on my Bandcamp page here: https://colinupfield.bandcamp.com/track/do-not-ask-me-to-remember-the-alzheimers-poem-words-by-owen-darnell more
