Mother
The song is about all the unusual events going on across the United States. It started with the Nashville Tornado which hit a little too close to home, then the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Mother refers to God, Mother Nature, a mother, or any spiritual being that you may believe in. The idea behind the line "Mother Save us" which started off the whole creative aspect of the song, is that a mother is supposed to protect her children and love her children. In these trying times we look to those who would protect us and we look to our mothers for help. The band recorded this song from our family homes instead of in our home studio in Nashville. It took some time to get it organized but we're really pleased with how it turned out.more
