The Platters
The Platters were a successful black vocal group of the early rock n roll era. Their distinctive sound was a bridge between the pre-rock n roll Tin Pan Alley tradition of the Ink Spots and the Mills Brothers and the explosion of teenage music in the mid 1950s. The most successful incarnation of the group comprised lead tenor Tony Williams, David Lynch, Paul Robi, Herb Reed, and Zola Taylor. The Platters formed in Los Angeles, CA, USA in 1953 and were initially managed by Ralph Bass.

Two Country Rednecks
"Two Country Rednecks" is about 2 people that dread Mondays. All week long they are begging for the weekend to come. (Is it Friday yet?) Pursuing their pleasures they go through their weekend, then Monday morning, they brag about itmore

Brooklyn Bossa (feat. Ricardo Barros)
Get a direct copy from my website: https://ahmedsirour.com/track/3346526/brooklyn-bossa-feat-ricardo-barros . This is an idea I was working on, off & on, over a few months that I composed & recorded, starting with a layered Bossa Nova beat, an upright bass part, a unison then harmonic background vocalese pad arrangement, grand piano, percussion, and a rhythm guitar part (all played on keys), but what I really needed was a REAL Brasilian guitarist! When I met the amazing Ricardo Barros in SaoPaulo, Brazil at a private jam session, I knew we had to connect and there was definitely musical magic! He recorded some takes for my track and voila! An instant classic–at least for my repertoire! 😉 . Released February 23, 2023 on ahmedsirour.com and March 1, 2023 on major streaming sites. . CREDITS Ahmed Sirour - original composition & arrangement, drum/percussion editing, upright bass, vocal pads, grand piano , acoustic rhythm guitar, mixing and mastering (all played on keyboard via Logic Pro). . Ricardo Barros - acoustic guitar solo (and that's all he needed cuz he DID that!)more

Wrong Number Right Time
I wrote and produced “Wrong Number Right Time” based on a short story in William Natale’s book, “BLISS: Forever Elusive and Unique”. The lyrics tell the tale of an unexpected phone call from a distant voice contemplating suicide which served as my inspiration. The song has been featured on internet and broadcast radio to increase awareness of suicide prevention and intervention and the #988 crisis hotline.more
