There are multiple bands named The Strike 1) The Strike was one of the first wave of British Oi! bands formed in the 1980's, most well known for their appearance on the Strength Thru Oi! compilation. 2) The Strike were a primarily 1990s, Minneapolis-based leftist punk band heavily influenced by 70s punk rock bands such as The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, and the Undertones. They put out full-length records on Johann's Face Records and Victory Records based out of Chicago.
