Tori Amos
Tori Amos (born Myra Ellen Amos on 22 August 1963 in Newton, North Carolina, United States) is an American pianist and singer-songwriter. Having already begun composing instrumental pieces on piano, Amos won a full scholarship to the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University, the youngest person ever to have been admitted, at age five. She was expelled at age eleven for, in her own words, insisting on playing by ear and because of her interest in popular rock music.

Don't You Think
Don't you think there's plenty of time that moments' links won't be broken Can't hear the noise roaring through heads Silent nods meet words unspoken Told to think it's all in the mind Told what to drink -- only hot or cold in theory Don't you think it's an endless supply Don't you blink -- now isn't time Burden's hand stuffs meal in the mouth forges path to sight unseen Back and forth, we sway like the trees tortured by nature's sneeze Told to think it's all in the mind Told what to drink -- only hot or cold in theory Don't you think it's an endless supply Don't you blink -- now isn't time Dud-n-dah-dah Dud-n-dud-n-dah-dah Dud-n-dah-dah Dud-n-dud-n-daht-n-dah-ta-dah Don't you think it's high time we ...? more

Rabbit Hole
"This song centres around loss of a child; spiralling aimlessly day after day as each day leaves behind little reminders of the life that once was, or would could have been. It's title is inspired by the John Cameron Mitchell film of the same name (based on the David Lindsay-Abaire Pulitzer Prize Play). I wrote the song thinking about a miscarriage of a child and Parent fall into their own internal shells (shock), separately, and find it difficult to discuss the tragedy. The film got me thinking about what if in a parallel life the child's life existed and watched as we watched on from another... to infinity and beyond. Leaving ourselves little messages for ourselves to ignore/find... and the plummeting through the rabbit hole of the dark space depression and anxiety can take you. I cover the same subjects in many songs but try to colour the songs very differently." - dunkiemore
