Misunderstood
[Verse] Shadows on my heart rip it wide with hate Torn apart by words you spewed awake too late You call me weak you spit my name with disdain But your venom's not enough to break my chain [Chorus] You don’t see me you never try To hear the screams behind my quiet sky You curse me blame me but I won’t fall This boy misunderstood gonna show you all [Verse 2] Stumbling in the dark your echoes fill my mind Searching for the light but no peace to find Twisting every truth you rip me into two Girl you’ve got no clue what I’m fighting through [Chorus] You don’t see me you never try To hear the screams behind my quiet sky You curse me blame me but I won’t fall This boy misunderstood gonna show you all [Bridge] The walls are trembling your words like knives Cutting deep wasting time on your lies But my fire it rages it’ll burn through this storm Misfit heart redefined in a reckless form [Verse 3] So scream at the wind throw dirt in my face I am rising now this is my time my place Your chains won’t hold your words won’t stay Misunderstood no more I’ll make my own waymore
