Jari has spoken about the genre of Wintersun's music, and says "Well it´s difficult to put into a certain genre, cause there’s lots of variation. But to describe it, I would say something like: Extreme Majestic Technical Epic Melodic Metal.

Some time ago, I used to have a band called "Behind The Pills." During that time, we made two original songs: "Doctor" and "Tired." Time passed, and these songs never saw the light until early this year when I called my old friend Ana to record and keep these songs as a beautiful memory of that time.more
