Curtis Mayfield
Curtis Mayfield (June 3, 1942 – December 26, 1999) was an American soul, funk and rhythm and blues, singer-songwriter and guitarist from Chicago, Illinois. Mayfield is probably best known for his anthemic music with The Impressions and for the soundtrack to the blaxploitation film Superfly. Perhaps because he didn't cross over to the pop audience as heavily as Motown's stars, it may be that the scope of Curtis Mayfield's talents and contributions have yet to be fully recognized.

How Mama Gets Loose
"How Mama Gets Loose" is a funky line danceable rythmic track. Released to be a short duration crowd exciter for the compilation "Isle Style". The groove is Mid West Rock 'n Soul Ohio Player's influenced bluesey groove. Un-mistakably its Urban Funk pure and simple . You feel this one or you don't. It's on the 'One' March and step. follow this link to the newest version https://youtu.be/Fqr9dJ7VVEg written to be an anthem piece for cinema; was to be a Ladies empowerment film with a line dancing scene.more
