Attending University of Southern California, she studied pop music and dropped an early composition entitled “Addicted.” It went viral on Soundcloud and HypeMachine as she continued to hone her craft, drawing inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga, and Marilyn Monroe in equal measure.
