I wrote this song originally in 2021; I don’t always go into detail about my music but here goes: I struggle with “imposter syndrome” a lot in my music; early on in my music career I kept thinking that people were going to think me a “fake” or a wannabe, and so I was always extra anxious about how my music was received; this song speaks to a very deep place in me…one that is guarded but one that is hopeful….still my favorite lyrics that I have ever written and even though it was hard to write I’m proud that I did more
