Kie Kitano (北乃きい, Kitano Kii, real name unknown, born on March 15, 1991 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese gravure idol and an actress. In 2010, she officially debuted as a singer with the top ten single, "Sakura Saku" (サクラサク), a synth-pop idol track. Her second single, "Hanataba" (花束) was produced by notorious producer Komuro Tetsuya, becoming his third work after his arrest in 2008.
Kitano's manager chose to call her Kitano Kii because her manager thought she had an image of yellow.
