I've been and performing music for over 30 years. I began writing music while I was in graduate school studying history at SUNY Albany. When I had written a fews songs under my belt, I began performing at open mics and became part of the music scene in that city In 2005, I started my own open mic in Brooklyn. Later, I formed my own band, Stretch Cunningham and started recording music for the very first time. My main influences in music are the Beatles, Rolling Stones, the Who and Simon and Garfunkel. Later, I began listening to Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel. Over the last year or so, I began to listen to country music, specifically the Carter family. In addition to being a singer-songwriter, I wrote a biography, "The Father of Baseball": A Biography of Henry Chadwick. I hope you get a chance to listen to my songs and enjoy them with your friends and family.
