Carlos Alberto Daniels Castillo (born April 14, 1992), known professionally as , is a bilingual professional singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and entrepreneur of British ancestry on the father's side and Dominican on the mother's side. Raised by a humble and Christian family, Daniels started making music at a very young age. Carl's music is characterized by displaying a wide range of styles and influences containing elements from a large variety of musical genres (All-Around Player). As a child, he was highly influenced by artists such as , , until reaching , , , to name a few. Carl also incorporates sounds inspired by Reggae, Electronic (EDM) and Latin Jazz in his work.
