Contour is a Canadian Alternative Rock/Post-hardcore project based in the Greater Toronto Area that focuses on creating energetic and thought-provoking music. A searing mix of heavy guitars, pulsing rhythms, and fierce vocals is now focusing on more depth and polished songwriting. Sole member Kayle Goguen continues to work on writing the music he feels is missing from today's musical landscape. Contour is an ode to the bands of his youth and a protest against the dwindling of passionate rock music. Influenced by bands like Brand New, Billy Talent, Manchester Orchestra, Boston Manor, Radiohead, Mogwai and Thrice - Contour aims to contribute to a genre that has given so much to its fans.
