This cove is from Didsbury, a leafy, late Victorian,
south Manchester suburb in the north of England.
I’ve been playing guitar and writing songs since
the mid ’70s. Places to go and things to do
characterise the subjects of my songs along with
typical singer-songwriter themes of love and hope,
lost and found.
This late approach to recording and releasing any
of my songs has, no doubt, contributed to my
obscurity. The upside is that by now, there’s
plenty of diverse and interesting material
to choose from.
This first album is a recently remastered set of
studio recording from 1996.
