A true tale of two cities, Eazy was born in Louisiana where he spent half of his childhood before transitioning to life in Texas. While in Texas the artist, formally known as Yung Eli, met Derek O’Bryant (D.O.) who collaborated on ideas over the love of music back in 2007. The duo eventually decided to start recording songs in the closet of an apartment that the two shared on the Northside of Houston in 2008. That apartment number was 1703 which became the duo’s stage name “1703” The group went on to work with CEO of Million Dollar Swag Entertainment “Da Gingerbread Man” before joining the label. Each artist put out a mixtape during their time with the label, but with poor promotion not much came of it. Short lived dreams perhaps, but life went on and dreams seemed to fade. Eazy says since 2009 he has been creating and building material for all of his “People” to last for a lifetime. As quoted by Dubb “I know my people love hearing me spit, and to me that’s all that matters!”
