International Hip Hop artist, producer, ghost-writer and curator for the Occupy The Shell Music Festival in Memphis, TN. Jaeti is a native of East St. Louis, IL, from the Edgmont neighborhood. Growing up as the son of a preacher, in a devout Missionary Baptist family, he often wrestled with his love for Hip Hop, conflicted by the lessons of the streets and the church, yet heavily inspired by both musical traditions and their intersections. Not only is Jaeti inspired by the intersections of Gospel and Hip Hop, but all music genres and Hip Hop sub genres. He calls his style “New Fusion”, and says that he thinks of himself as an artist that embraces all of the styles. He is the centerpiece of the New Fusion Movement, performing, collaborating, learning and mentoring artists around the globe. The most important artists in his life are his wife, a visual artist and painter and his daughter, a classical and contemporary pianist with wins in many international competitions.
