Born and raised in the marshlands of the South Carolina Lowcountry, Jesse Matthews started playing music at the young age of 6. Jesse was influenced heavily by classic rock, jam bands, blues, old style country, bluegrass, folk, and much more. He played heavily in his 20s, but then took around ten years off from music after the death of his daughter, McKayla. He picked up a guitar again after becoming disabled and rekindled a love he could not deny. Jesse plays all the instruments on his albums - guitar, mandolin, bass, violin, keyboards, banjo, dobro, stand up bass, and much more. He records and masters his music in his home studio. Jesse currently lives in Columbia, SC with his girlfriend, Larkin and bonus daughter, CeCi.
