Yoav Fekete is an Israeli musician. He started studying classical western music on cello at the age of 9. At the age of 21 he encountered the sitar and the Hindustani classical tradition and fell in love with it. Since then he has been studying under his Guru David Elkabir and in recent years under Ustad Baha`ud-din Dagar. He has been working on fusion of classical and folk music with Reggae, R&B, Jazz and Rook.
As a middle eastern musician yoav also explored the use of sitar in traditional middle eastern folk music and has been playing for few years in Sufi Turkish Makam orchestra.
