Big City Basement is an Alternative Hip-hop group based out of Toronto; they create and stylize music that doesn’t quite conform to either traditional or contemporary Hiphop. With last years release of their debut single Astroplanes (outreach over 30k streams internationally) Big City has resurfaced again with a lighthearted, organic and animated sound in the single Goodtimes, a decidedly more “danceable” track. Big City hopes to address the pandemic in their own way; less through words and more through a needed emotional tuneup to the listener experience.
