I started making this in the midst of a bad episode. I was isolated and I didn't talk to anyone. I started dissociating and it kind of felt like a twilight zone where weird things were happening. My first Synthpop track to release on my "Ghosting & Guitar" EP that releases next month. The EP has a mixture of Synthpop, Synthwave, and DarkSynth sounds. This song "He Said" is a true emotion that I just healed from. I had wanted this guy since High School, and when we reunited in 2017...I thought that my prayers were answered...but NOPE!!! He was far from what I fantasized he would be. I've been dreaming of him since 1996. His toxic love has left me feeling as though I will never love again...I really thought he was my true love. This song is how I got over his lies, cheating, manipulation, and abuse. I'm not much of a vocalist...but I do play lots of instruments...so singing this was very hard for me. more
