Here's a demo I recorded of the first song I have written since December of last year. During Spring and Summer, I had a major existential crisis and came to terms with myself as a mortal being as I transition into adulthood. This song describes my exact feelings I was having. I felt hopeless and alone. I was just a grain of sand on a five mile long beach that comprises this universe. Being the highly sensitive person I am, I felt absolutely rejected. Albeit, my friends and family around me were always there for me, but I couldn't accept it because I felt vulnerable. So. I plan to rerecord this song in Memphis early next year for my next record. I recorded a severe thunderstorm with a couple of Warm Audio WA-47 microphones on my aunt and uncle's front porch and decided to splice the recording into the demo in the intro.
