TOTEM: A track for following your own north star. The perfect track to cruise down a highway at 4:00 in the morning to. -- 💠 -- ABOUT TOTEM: -- There's not really much to say about Totem, other than I started making it during a boring night in July 2018. I usually aimlessly mess around with GarageBand patches and press a few buttons, create a small loop I like, and then add elements which add on to this track. The track pretty much develops itself as I follow the direction it tends to go in as I add to it. -- I usually name tracks and make their cover arts after what imagery pops into my head when I think of them. While making this, I envisioned a bright star rising at the end of a road, and the word "TOTEM" kept repeating itself in my head. Hence the title and cover art. It has nothing to do with totem poles. -- It makes a great track for driving or riding down a highway in the early hours of the morning, just as the sun rises. -- 💠 -- I love the community on Slaps.com.
