“Verona” is about longing for love and seeing it everywhere. I wrote the song inspired by the story and the language of Romeo and Juliet – I even included some of the text in the song. I wanted to capture the feeling that someone might have after reading the story and wishing for their own “Romeo” (or Juliet), and seeing other people in love and watching them and wishing they could have it too. more
