When Rwandan-American singer/rapper/songwriter A_mo discovered music; "Is the true universal language." He decided to introduce himself to the world through it. Born in 1999 and raised in both rural and urban parts of Rwanda before moving to USA at the age of 15, A_mo (born Moses Mugisha) is setting out to create music that moves his peers to believe; "We possess the power within us to be and have whatever we cherish in this world," and; "We have the power to leave this world a lot better than we found it." At a very young age, A_mo's visionary music approach encompasses magnificent global intelligence that he gives credits for to the greats like Bob Marley, Lucky Dube and 2pac Shakur for; "planting those seeds in me." He also thanks his idols like J cole and Kendrick Lamar for continuing to plant similar seeds but he believes its about time they; "pass on the baton," and claims; "My peers and I are ready to take this marathon to the next level."
