Founded in fall 2018, Breaking the Sunset is a Metalcore Band Project from Germany. Fast and heavy riffs, hard breakdowns, a varied sound, a wall of sound that races towards you-that's Breaking the Sunset.
We want to use our voice and songs to
draw attention to various grievances in the world. Or to talk about issues that each of us has already gone through or still will.
Music triggers feelings, connects, helps in bad times and conjures a smile on the the face of one or the other. And that's exactly what we are here for!
At the moment we are constantly working

Today we present you our new song Jinxed! 💜 Its a pretty heavy Metalcore/Deathcore track, which is about depression caused by domestic violence, for example. In general, there are many triggers for depression, which can of course be manifold. We have chosen the above example for the lyrics.
The artwork is based on the Celtic triqueta, which stands for body, soul, spirit and their balance. In the middle is a semicolon, which has become another common symbol for depression. Depression blurs the lines of body, mind and soul, even breaking them, which stands for the resulting imbalance.more
