The song was inspired by events in my own life experiences. My biological mom and dad separated when I was 4 years old. While I keep in touch with my mum over the phone, the distance made it difficult for her to understand the changes I was going through and how I was beginning to look at life in a different way. I got the sense that she still saw me as the 4 year old "nunuza" and that frustrated me no end. While the song talks about my personal journey it's a piece of advise to parents, spouses and anyone in relationships. We need to pay attention to each other otherwise we grow apart and grow our separate ways.more
