Dope Swope aka (Swopamine) was born in Philly and raised up in the burbs. Swope found a love for music at a young age. As kid he played cello and grew up listing to Dmx, Biggie, Nas, Tupac, Ice Cube, 50cent and Eminem. Swope says "Music really got me through the ruff times in my life weather it was my parents fighting trying to kill each other or my 4 sisters arguing over dumb shit. Music was always there for me." Fast forward to 2016 Swope started to learn how to produce, mix and write his own work. Now he makes music that he enjoys to help him cope with depression and anxiety.
