Dretek20 is an music producer in the City of Oakland. He is very active in Beat Culture and Today Future Sound, building community with other Artist and Musicians. He began his journey in music as a young emcee in the City of Pittsburgh Pa where he was born and raised. He learned to play turntables and ventured into music production as a result of needing beats for him and his friends to rap over. In 1997 he purchased a Roland DR 202, and a SP202 and found his passion for beat production. Leaving everything else behind he married his love for technology and music production in analog drum grooves, and crazy samples. You can find him navigating through jazz samples, hip hop samples, or lo-fi beats. Come along his musical journey.
