Mist Within is a Progressive band, formed in 2009 by Safires (Alireza Motevasel) in Shiraz, Iran.
The debut album "Post Mortem Dump", was released in 2012 as an EP.
The band is currently working on a new album with a new lineup; Alireza “Safires” Motevasel on Vocals & Mohammad "Maynard" Rahimi on Guitars as the core of the band, and Arsalan "Madsalan" Maddahi is with the band again as Bassist. The album is also featuring several guest musicians including Cato Bekkvold (ex-Enslaved, current Sarke) on Drums and Déhà mixing, mastering and producing the album.
The album is expected to get released in late 2021.
