Myndset (formally Mindset) is an emerging independent artist from Barrie, Ontario. The Canadian rapper, singer and songwriter has been making a name for himself in the world of Hip-hop since the release of his debut album “Pedestrian Funk” in 2016. Through the course of a dozen Boom bap and breakbeat grooves, that record introduced a talented young writer, singer and emcee with mad rap skills.
Since the album’s release Myndset has been writing, recording and performing. He’s played some high-profile gigs with Hip-hop legends including Raekwon of the Wu Tang Clan and Black Sheep. And he’s been making music, releasing almost two dozen singles in that time. Almost all of that new music has come in just the past year, and the prolific rapper shows no signs of slowing down.
