PVRKA, [Parka] Coming from the background of heavy metal and rock, UK rapper PVRKA when aged 17 slowly started experimenting with listening to "dark rap" artists, such as " lil peep, $uicideBoy$, Juice WRLD etc." which got PVRKA to start writing his own lyrics over instrumentals of dark rock and hip-hop styles, which transparently addressed his past issues of depression, self harm and anxiety. Which he has struggled with for most of his life, from getting kicked out of school, to being schooled in the hospital, to only lasting a week in "Access To Music" Collage in Manchester where he was experimenting with heavy metal vocals, but even at his dream college he didn't seem to quite fit in. So slowly getting into rap, whilst living alone and what it seemed like nobody to turn to. PVRKA tried his best to speak out his true feelings through his music and lyricism. While some songs still being adventurous and not as dark, it just proves his creativity to really dip his toes into any genre.
